Social Care and Inquest Solicitor Opportunity

Grist Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join their dedicated team advising on a range of matters, including litigation, mental health and mental capacity law, inquests, public law, governance, and patient safety investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on litigation matters, including Court of Protection, judicial review, and mental health tribunal cases
  • Provide expertise on mental health and mental capacity law, including Deprivation of Liberty
  • Prepare for and advocate at inquests
  • Advise on public law, including governance, powers, and responsibilities, as well as funding and treatment decision making
  • Conduct governance and patient safety investigations and inquiries
  • Assist with CQC and related healthcare regulation
  • Manage confidentiality and information law (DPA/FOIA) matters
Requirements:

The successful candidate will be an advisory solicitor with demonstrable experience in a leading healthcare law practice. A salary of up to £58,000 + bonus + flexible and hybrid working is offered.
