Logistics Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our team at MINI Plant Oxford. As a Logistics Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Physical Logistics team in ensuring the smooth movement and storage of products on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Service Partners to ensure stock is transported safely and stored in the provided locations.
  • Use IT systems to control parts and provide transparency on each movement, condition, and location.
  • Develop and improve internal processes to optimize warehouse operations and logistical processes.
  • Monitor and report internal KPIs to ensure continuous production.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards a Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering degree (projected 2:2 or above).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • A keen interest in working in the automotive industry and logistics.
  • Coding experience would be useful, but is not mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to approach problems in an analytical and innovative manner.
  • Capable of prioritizing and organizing tasks independently.

  • A competitive annual salary of £23,650.
  • 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract).
