Training Manager for Corporate Communications

Job Overview
The primary objective of this position is to oversee the training initiatives for Corporate Communications, collaborating with Learning Training and Development, local law enforcement, and specialized national divisions/departments. This ensures the provision of superior communications training for Police Scotland and its partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality training sessions and practical workshops that align with the strategic goals of Police Scotland, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and fostering public trust.
- Work in close partnership with other managers within Corporate Communications to guarantee that all operational areas are accurately represented in the training offerings.
- Serve as a knowledgeable advisor for senior personnel and staff regarding public communications about investigations, local and national matters, and policy modifications, empowering them to effectively engage with media and stakeholders in accordance with our principles and legal standards, while preserving public trust.
