English Teacher for SEMH School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a thriving SEMH School in the London Borough of Bromley. As an Unqualified English HLTA, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students in KS3 to GCSE.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH and ASD.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and reports to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students' educational and emotional needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching in either a HLTA or Unqualified Teacher (behaviour difficulties).
  • In date DBS on the update service OR able to pay for a new one ASAP.
  • You reside in commutable distance to the London Borough of Bromley.
