Ensure that all assets are maintained in the format required by Powered where appropriate and align business development activities with the Powered sales teams.
  • Grow our current footprint to meet market demand and clients' issues while exploiting the adjacencies across our current engagements.
  • Build relationships with other parts of the firm (e.g., IAM leads in other Cyber Security coverage groups and Technology Risk) to bind offerings together.
  • Lead our relationships with IAM alliance partners (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, etc.) to drive collaboration and sales opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the IAM capability leadership on the people management of the IAM business to enable the strategy to be successful.
  • Connect and enable our business transformation work with IAM and shape the future of IAM through innovative services and tools.
  • Originate and lead on sales opportunities.
  • Develop relationships internally and externally and build a pipeline of opportunities and/or sell engagements to clients.
  • Lead the delivery of security engagements.
  • Define the people requirements (e.g., skills, experience, etc.) to strengthen our team of cyber security resources and lead the recruitment of these resources.

Reporting to the Lead Cyber Security Partner for FS, the Director role involves:

  • Taking accountability for the delivery of FS IAM engagements and leading multiple engagements on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of Senior Managers/Managers in the team.
  • Being responsible for expanding our IAM services in the FS sector.
  • Providing leadership and collaborating with people across the coverage groups on the IAM service line to deliver a clear and unified strategy.
  • Leading FS sales origination/business development initiatives and acting as an integral part of the broader Technology and Cyber Security leadership team.

  • Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships (typically at CIO, CRO, COO, CISO, or Head of Technology level) across a range of FS organizations.
  • Actively identifying and progressing FS business development opportunities, as well as managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, bid management, proposal writing, and client presentations.
  • Developing internal networks and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues across KPMG.
  • Coaching and developing team members as part of our overall performance management process or on specific engagements.
  • Contributing to practice management, e.g., training, knowledge management, thought leadership, etc.
  • Travelling in the UK to regional offices and in particular regularly attending the Canary Wharf offices; and travelling in the UK or internationally supporting client delivery where required.
  • Acting in line with KPMG's values at all times.
The Person

  • Experience of working in the Financial Services sector, including working with large, global organizations.
  • Experience of working at the senior level as an IAM Lead and Consultant.
  • Commercially aware and with industry relationships that will enable achievement of revenue in the region of £1.5+ million per year.
  • Wide industry exposure with a depth of technical security knowledge and experience in IAM.
  • Experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment facing clients in the FS sector; with a particular focus on technology, cyber security, and privacy relevant regulations.
  • Proven experience of successfully leading, managing, and delivering cyber security and technology advisory and assurance services to large/medium, multi-national clients.
