The Role
We are seeking a skilled Chilled Demand Planner to join our team in West London. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the chilled supply chain, from building and maintaining relationships with customers and factories to demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize demand forecasting and supply chain management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and factories to gather and analyze customer data.
- Coordinate with warehouses and customer supply chains to ensure smooth operations.
- Support other factories in managing their stock in the UK by providing market insights and challenging them to meet their KPIs related to service levels and waste reduction.
- Perform data analysis to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Work closely with European factories to help them understand the UK market and provide them with the insights they need.
Requirements
- A recent graduate with a technical degree or hands-on experience in retail or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in forecasting and data analysis.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
