**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced External Account Manager to join our team in the Personal Care industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our specialty product range and services to current and prospective customers within a designated area and market.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive profitable growth and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Manage accounts against set targets, including face-to-face sales call quotas and CRM database management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Provide market and competitor insights to inform business strategy and purchasing/pricing tactics.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports on sales performance and customer activity.
**Requirements**
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- Experience in external account management, preferably in the personal care industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Well-organized and proactive approach.
- Commercial skills and ability to confidently organize, plan, and execute sales strategies.
- Highly proficient in literacy, numeracy, and IT.
