School Finance Officer/Bursar/Business Manager Required

We are seeking an experienced School Finance Officer, Bursar or Business Manager to provide long-term cover for our client school.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school finance, attendance, and record-keeping, with proficiency in SIMS and FMS. Experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional financial and administrative services to the school
  2. Maintain accurate computerized records and systems for pupils and staff
  3. Manage invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and school fund management
  4. Act as the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff
  5. Regularly use school software packages, including ParentPay, FMS, and SIMS
Requirements:
  1. Experience working in a school environment, with SIMS and FMS proficiency
  2. Ability to work collaboratively with the school senior leadership team
  3. Excellent communication and administrative skills, including attention to detail and people management
  4. High levels of tact, confidentiality, and discretion
  5. Experience handling data and data protection regulations
