Groundsperson Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Groundsperson to join our team at Payters Facilities Management Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our 70-acre Business Park in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
  • Upkeep of trees, shrubs, lawns, and other green spaces.
  • Ensure all grounds equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Report any issues in a timely manner and possess a proactive mentality toward the development of the site.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of two years with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • Certificates PA1 & PA6.
  • Grounds Maintenance / Landscaping experience of at least 3 years.
Desirable Skills:
  • Basic mechanical knowledge with machinery would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and interact with various stakeholders.
