About the Role:
  • Manage specific UK and cross-border tax projects and initiatives, including the UK patent box regime and R&D tax incentives.
  • Identify tax opportunities and risks relating to product innovation and technology, including restructuring activities.
  • Provide input on treasury-related activity and M&A.
  • Offer effective tax support and advice to the business, including advising on the tax implications of ad hoc projects and transactions.
  • Analyze the tax implications of legislative changes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Director of International Tax to deliver tax projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the existing tax team to identify tax opportunities and risks.
  • Provide tax support and advice to the business, including advising on tax implications of projects and transactions.
  • Work with other members of the tax team on projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply to non-tax experts.
  • Good team-player, able to build personal networks across Tax and Finance, and with other stakeholders in the business.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree
