Paint Technician Opportunity

Stephen James BMW & MINI Group is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Bodyshop in Woolwich. As a Paint Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that each vehicle's paintwork meets our high-quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for painting after body repair work has been completed
  • Match and mix paint to ensure a perfect match
  • Apply primer and finishing coats according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Inspect vehicles for quality control following paintwork completion
  • Maintain the paint mixing area and equipment
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Paint Technician with a solid track record of high-quality work
  • In-depth knowledge of painting techniques and colour matching
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • ATA or NVQ Paint Technician qualification or equivalent
