Job Title: Energy/Commodity Trading Development Manager
Job Summary:
Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy/Commodity Trading Development Manager to lead our technology team and drive technology transformation. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for managing our technology team, leading technology transformation, and ensuring our company remains best in class for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of technologists, including hiring and training new staff
- Drive technology transformation and innovation, working closely with our Solutions Architect
- Ensure our technology remains best in class, using C# and Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform
- Work closely with our Chief Information Officer to ensure alignment with company goals
- Recruit and manage IT teams, training and developing staff
Requirements:
- 10+ years of commercial experience in software development, with 5+ years of experience managing development teams
- Strong C# development background and experience working on Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform
- Previous experience in energy or financial trading, working for a software house, IT consultancy, or trading business
- Strong people leadership skills and experience
- Degree educated, ideally
