Work Schedule and Compensation: (position duration: 6 months)
- Monday to Thursday, 07:30 AM - 05:15 PM
- £12.68 PER HOUR, with potential for increased earnings based on experience and available overtime
- Overtime opportunities available at the discretion of the business starting from Friday onwards
Key Responsibilities:
- Diverse role involving various tasks within the transmission assembly line
- Assembling components within designated 'Takt time' intervals
- Performing visual quality inspections
- Utilizing pneumatic tools for the installation of friction-fit components
- Operating and calibrating torque wrenches
- Using battery-operated and manual tools
- Following standard operating procedures
- Adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Health & Safety regulations
- Engaging in some manual lifting tasks
- Collaborating within a team or working independently as required
Essential Qualifications:
- Familiarity with transmission systems is advantageous
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly roles
- Competence in using hand tools such as air guns and drills
- Understanding of safe working practices and compliance with health & safety standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer/IT skills (training will be provided for in-house software)
