About the Role

FPSG is seeking a highly skilled SAP SD/MM expert to join our team in the Yorkshire region of the UK. As a Functional Developer & Analyst, you will be responsible for providing business process analysis, development, testing, and delivery of solutions to meet the requirements of our business.

This is a permanent role that will involve collaboration with colleagues globally, particularly with the US-based SAP team. Consideration will be given to basing the role in Texas, US, if preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis support to the business and deliver the appropriate development of systems and business processes to meet business requirements.
  • Perform configuration of SAP systems using the SD & MM modules that align with proposed solutions defined and agreed with the business during business analysis.
  • Perform testing and development of test scenarios, including automation of testing.
  • Provide daily monitoring of SD & MM issues, including data integrity, and rectify any issues through proactive collaboration with business functions, 3rd parties, and other IT functions.
  • Provide expertise within their functional area on the use and development of systems and business processes to ensure they continue to meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Business process experience in the chemical industry is essential.
  • SAP SD/MM process modules qualifications are preferred.
  • Three successful full life-cycle implementations of SAP SD are essential.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including project experience from an IT perspective and documenting processes, is preferred.
  • A track record in change management is essential.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of relevant industry practices and processes.
  • Knowledge of business processes.
  • Technical configuration experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Materials Management is essential, with at least three full project cycles and tangible examples of support.
Behavioural Skills
  • A self-motivated individual with a passion for service delivery and attention to detail.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, with Mandarin being useful but not essential.
