About the Role:

The Product Manager will be responsible for owning products, leading Arqiva's developments on LPWAN, and staying up-to-date with market and technology trends. This individual will generate new ideas and drive improvements to increase market share, focusing on innovative and creative approaches with a strong Product Management background and specific industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize growth in metering and sensoring, and deliver critical product development activities and product management best practice.
  • Own and drive the Arqiva vision and strategy for growth of LPWAN products to support utilities solutions, informed by market standards and technology trends, and customer needs.
  • Create business cases for technology investments in LPWAN to maximize sales opportunities with new capabilities on the roadmap.
  • Drive innovation, especially based on technology and market trends, such as IoT.
  • Assess, prioritize, and sequence change/project requests versus the roadmap.
  • Manage the lifecycle of products, resulting in capability improvements.
  • Oversight of performance against products, including managing early life issues, continuous service improvement, scaling, optimization, and improvements.
  • Lead product engagement with partners and suppliers (Sensus, MNO, Manufacturers) for product roadmap and development activities.
  • Understand supplier contracts and support their management.
  • Unify and align views from across the business to enable product innovation.
  • Drive alignment between water metering and energy developments.
  • Contribute to and promote product management best practice in Arqiva.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Product management experience in a B2B environment.
  • Commercial, technology, and/or operational experience.
  • Understanding of LPWAN technology and market.
  • Knowledge of LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, customer expectations, and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile product development methodologies.
  • Significant experience acting as a product owner in a cross-functional product development process.
