Vibe Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Training Professional to join our team. As a Work-Based Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to assigned learners/clients, ensuring top standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Internal Verification and Record Keeping: Ensure the Internal Verification (IV) system is followed and maintained in line with the code of practice, and maintain records in accordance with Awarding Body standards.
- Training and Assessment: Deliver high-quality training programs to assigned learners/clients, ensuring top standards are met, and travel regionally to visit learners in the workplace for assessments.
- Individual Learning Plans: Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), mapping out learning routes for each learner, and participate in the planning, monitoring, and achievement of performance targets.
- Training Materials and Administration: Develop training materials to meet course delivery needs, administer tests according to Awarding Body guidelines, and keep records of client achievements and meet performance targets set by relevant awarding bodies.
- Health and Safety: Cooperate with colleagues to maintain a safe workplace and report any risks to the Health and Safety Officer.
- Essential Qualifications and Experience: Experience delivering training in relevant fields, experience in Work-Based Learning, knowledge of Awarding Body procedures, A1/CAVA or equivalent qualification, Assessor experience, ESW Communication Level 2 and Application of Number Level 2, and occupational experience in the relevant apprenticeship routes.
- Desirable Qualifications and Experience: TAQA or equivalent qualification, City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in Supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills (or a willingness to work towards it), Apprenticeship delivery experience, and fluent in Welsh.
- Knowledge and Characteristics: Knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent policies, understanding of ESW requirements and public-funded training programs, IT literacy, self-motivated and proactive, flexible approach to work, ability to work under pressure, reliable, enthusiastic, and a team player.
