As a Test Engineer at Dräger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical and safety technology products. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures to validate the performance of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and software to support product testing.
- Analyze test data and results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to support product development and testing.
- Work closely with the Test Engineering team to develop and maintain test procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with international test laboratories to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in test engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of test engineering principles, methods, and tools.
- Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, and other test automation tools.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as Minitab, Excel, or Tableau.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
