Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Independent Specialist Provision

Hourly Rate: £14.00 - £15.28 per hour

Annual Salary: £25,000 - £31,782.40 (FTE)

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours a week, Term Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at an independent specialist provision.

Our focus is on supporting children aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and mental health skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a teaching or support role
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
