About our client

This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a diversified, multi-stage, and multi-strategy early-stage investor who focuses on building, backing, and scaling fast growth businesses. Headquartered in London, they have a long-standing, entrepreneurial team.

The incoming candidate will have an established institutional network with family offices being advantageous. An interest and track record in the venture space would be welcomed, with broader private markets experience being of additional benefit.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships and contacts within the investor community, taking a proactive approach to meet and source new institutional investors across the UK, Europe, and the US.
  2. Further establish the brand name amongst investors, attending conferences and events.
  3. Ensure the CRM system is properly up to date by keeping track of investors' allocation strategies and timelines.
  4. Stay up to date with market trends and compile market intelligence on products, LPs, and GPs.
  5. Assist in managing relationships with external fundraisers, if any.

Requirements
  1. Strong track record of raising capital within the relevant institutional markets, preferably selling private market strategies.
  2. Experience from having been part of a fundraising team at a placement agent or broader alternative asset managers building institutional investor networks.
  3. Venture Capital knowledge and track record would be advantageous.
  4. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Ability to communicate business and financial product information clearly and accurately.
