Position Overview:
We are currently looking for skilled Electro-Mechanical Technicians with a diverse skill set in both electrical and mechanical disciplines to join our team on a permanent basis.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will possess strong capabilities in the installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly focusing on pumps and control mechanisms.

Experience in the rewinding and repair of industrial electric motors is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting salary for the Electro-Mechanical Technician role ranges from £39,000 to £42,000, depending on experience, with the potential to earn up to £60,000 through overtime opportunities, which are compensated at a premium rate.

  • 20 days of annual leave, increasing by one day for each year of service up to a maximum of 28 days, in addition to public holidays.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00, including two paid 15-minute breaks. Participation in an on-call rota may be required for certain aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for:

  • Performing mechanical and electro-mechanical repairs.
  • Leading and participating in general installations as part of a collaborative team.
  • Complying with all health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with electro-mechanical systems, industrial pumps, and diesel generators or similar equipment.
  • A valid driving license (clean or with no more than 6 points).
  • Strong teamwork skills with potential for leadership.

Desirable Skills:
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

  • Experience in rewinding and repairing industrial electric motors.
  • Knowledge of various industrial and commercial machinery.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in industrial environments.
