Principal Architectural Technician

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience and a comprehensive knowledge of UK building standards. Your role will involve producing detailed technical drawings and specifications utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial as you will frequently engage with clients and various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of team members
• Oversee multiple projects at different phases
• Assess environmental and regulatory compliance
• Conduct research and provide guidance on materials and specifications
• Collaborate with essential stakeholders and prepare documentation for approval processes
• Review and critique design proposals
• Manage design and production documentation
• Address health and safety considerations related to projects

Essential Requirements:

• Familiarity with relevant legislation
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance
• Solid understanding of construction techniques and sustainability practices
• Expertise in Revit or AutoCAD, preferably with NBS knowledge
• Chartered Technologist status or actively pursuing it
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
