Job Title: Maintenance Operative - Plumbing Bias

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative - Plumbing Bias to join our team at NHS Property Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services across various NHS premises. This will involve ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, technical guidance, and statutory regulations. The role will also involve supporting minor works managers and undertaking routine repairs and minor works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver maintenance services in accordance with NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies and relevant technical guidance.
  • Support minor works managers and undertake routine repairs and minor works.
  • Maintain effective site logbooks and complete risk assessments prior to undertaking works.
  • Support the Projects/Construction team and Team Leader in delivering minor capital works to NHS premises.
Requirements:
  • At least one of the following qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or higher BTEC/City & Guilds or equivalent in plumbing and heating, or formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent.
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
  • On-Call availability.
  • Desirable to have industry experience.
