Role Overview:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating both manual and CNC milling machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis configurations utilizing Siemens control panels.
- Interpreting data from sketches and 2D drawings to manufacture components by programming CNC mills, ensuring adherence to geometrical tolerances.
- Producing small batch and prototype components, focusing on precision and quality within established timelines and budgets.
- Conducting self-inspections of parts prior to finalization, employing appropriate measuring techniques and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures, including safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in manual and CNC milling and turning.
- Ability to set up and operate various machine tools.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with a range of tools.
Desirable:
- Completion of mechanical training or qualifications that encompass machining.
