Job Title: Site Manager Cladding and Roofing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Western Counties Roofing Ltd. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our roofing contracts in the Somerset area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-roof inspections, mid-roof inspections, and completion sign-offs to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Deliver toolbox talks to our tradesmen to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Monitor materials and schedule plot work with site teams and the Contracts Manager to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Liaise with our in-house buying department and Contracts Manager to ensure continuity and scheduling of works.
  • Attend weekly sub-contractor meetings on site and weekly meetings with the Contracts Manager at our regional office to discuss progress and planning.
Requirements:
  • Valid driving license.
  • Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
