We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safety analysis and assurance to enable our products to be integrated onto various platforms.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to define safety boundaries and develop business safety claims.
  • Lead the production and evolution of Safety Management Plans and deliver required safety analyses.
  • Conduct hazard management and risk analysis, including functional failure, fault tree, and event tree analyses.
  • Develop safety arguments and contribute to ALARP statements and authoring of Safety Case Reports.
  • Provide support to internal and external project Safety Panels and Committees.
  • Liaise with other functions to derive safety requirements and hazards.
  • Work with systems teams to demonstrate satisfaction of safety requirements.
  • Understand and apply DEF-STAN 00-056 and other similar international standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Detailed electronic engineering experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience of other engineering disciplines, especially software, is also desirable.
