About the Role

Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Organize and participate in activities, such as games, crafts, and educational tasks
  • Develop and implement an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities
  • Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment and organize maintenance, repairs, and new items as required
  • Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behavior
  • Answer enquiries about enrolment, payments, and practices
  • Conduct interviews for potential applicants
  • Develop and maintain the nursery budget
  • Arrange marketing materials

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children and converse with other staff members and parents
  • Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children
  • A positive outlook to keep children happy and build an environment where children feel secure and rewarded
