About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain office and events venue premises, including washrooms, kitchens, and venue hall.
- Perform deep cleans as required, using buffers and carpet cleaners.
- Ensure premises are safe and disinfected regularly.
- Remove waste, replenish consumables, and attend to reactive jobs (spillages).
- Provide excellent customer service while working with clients and their staff.
Person Specification:
- Must be well-presented and a good communicator.
- Must have a can-do attitude, polite demeanor, and be proactive.
- Hardworking, good timekeeping, and attendance record.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload.
- Strong customer service, care, and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
- Understanding and knowledge of health and safety policies.
