Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team for a 10-month undergraduate placement. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services, including researching and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Currently studying for a degree in a Business and Management or any relevant discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in procurement software a plus.
