Inventory Management Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Abstract Recruitment. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various stock tasks, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the overall logistics process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counting and verifying site stock levels
- Managing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) database and schedules to ensure optimal stock levels and service delivery
- Scanning and dispatching orders in a timely manner
- Managing all stock movement documentation in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Receiving and dispatching stock orders, maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements in all aspects of the warehousing operation
- Supporting Operations to improve Stock Integrity
- Entering data into the in-house system
- Providing general administrative support to aid the efficient running of operations
- Communicating with the distribution centre, operations, and contact centre teams
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and proactive individual
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally
Working Conditions:
Rotational shift, 8-hour shift, with varying pay rates (£12.05-£12.43 per hour)
