Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer
Position Overview
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a proficient Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer to become an integral part of our Utilities Asset division. The position is situated in a plant environment that has recently experienced substantial investment and is poised for further expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the resolution of critical equipment malfunctions and spearhead design enhancements.
- Assist in capital expenditure projects within the Utilities sector.
- Formulate long-term strategies for Instrumentation and Electrical operations in Utilities.
- Manage budget allocations for Instrumentation and Electrical expenditures and prioritize as necessary.
- Identify and propose initiatives for enhancing maintenance protocols.
- Perform root cause analyses and offer expertise in addressing asset vulnerabilities.
- Engage in Utilities improvement initiatives and uphold service delivery standards.
- Create and review Asset Care Policies and Preventative Maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering domain.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing Chartership.
- Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in safety instrumented systems and ATEX regulations.
- Capability to conduct site evaluations and oversee capital projects.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation oversight.
- Self-driven with a commitment to enhancing plant reliability.
