Essential Requirements
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RN Child)
- Diploma level qualification or equivalent, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and competency in pediatric nursing
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Experience in managing admission and discharge planning for children
- In-depth understanding of the NHS Constitution and Trust values, strategic objectives, and key work programmes
- Comprehensive knowledge of child safeguarding issues and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for all individuals
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Desirable Requirements
- Pediatric Intensive Life Support (PILS) or Emergency Pediatric Life Support (EPLS) certification
- High Dependency Unit (HDU) experience
- Computer skills
