Role Overview
Are you a Registered Physiotherapist looking for a role that offers flexibility and a chance to positively impact lives? As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will leverage your clinical skills to evaluate how an individual's health condition or disability influences their daily activities.
This position involves assessing complex cases related to chronic pain, neurological, physical, and mental health issues. Your empathy and expertise will play a crucial role in assisting clients in progressing in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or in-person to evaluate the impact of health conditions on daily living.
- Generate Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining benefit eligibility.
- Enhance your clinical knowledge and assessment capabilities through continuous feedback and supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HCPC registration number.
- Minimum of 1 year of diverse post-registration experience, either within or outside the NHS.
- Must possess the right to work in the UK.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer software for report writing.
