About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering exceptional service and operations across the restaurant. This will involve managing a diverse team, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the management team in achieving business objectives and maintaining high standards of service and operations
- Manage a diverse team of staff across all areas of the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Develop and implement effective training programs for staff
- Monitor and control expenditure, including stock ordering and cellar management
- Lead by example and empower team members to deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Duty Manager or similar role in a high-volume, fine dining environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
