Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's multidisciplinary R&D team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting electrical systems for complex electromechanical medical machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system and subsystem-level designs, applying engineering principles and techniques to bring innovative new products to market.
  • Work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept to validation, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Manage multiple projects, including report generation, and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and quality engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system-level electrical engineering, including design, development, and testing.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing schedules, resources, and project teams.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and serviceability.
  • Familiarity with controlling electro-mechanical devices and understanding machine electrical hardware.
  • Knowledge of medical electrical standards and regulated industry design control processes.
