We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Constellation Careers. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all colleagues and guests, maintaining a polite, prompt, and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are professionally cleaned before and after use, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
- Clean and sanitize all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team during preparation and service times.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen areas, ensuring they are ready for the next service.
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Operate cleaning machinery as trained and instructed, in accordance with company policy.
- Comply with all company and unit policies regarding Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
