About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Manager to join our team at Slater Gordon. As an Insurance Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our insurance contract portfolio, ensuring clients have appropriate level cover for their claims.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and protect the client and our business's financial risk profile. This will involve dealing with indemnity queries, considering terms for policy endorsements and policy document wording, and undertaking claims handling activity as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on ATE Insurance services
  • Undertake claims handling activity where required
  • Work in collaboration with practices and wider business to identify gaps in insurance
  • Support the ATE Team Leader on coordinating audits
  • Maintain, review, and update internal procedural information as and when required
  • Contribute to internal communications and training to enhance awareness and understanding of controls across the business
About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in insurance, preferably with experience in After the Event Insurance. You should possess excellent stakeholder management skills, be able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills and good verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly in communicating complex information in a simple and clear manner.

You should also have IT skills, including Microsoft packages, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
