Job Type: Part-time

Location: Maidstone

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Personal Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working weekends. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, who requires assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide support with mobility and transfers
  • Assist with medication management
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (manual transmission)

Working Hours:

  • Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • 9am to 6:30pm (with option to increase hours to 8:30am to 7pm)

Pay:

  • £14.28 per hour (rising to £15.00 after 6 months and completion of competency-based training and assessment)
