Position Overview:
The role involves facilitating a seamless flow of materials by meticulously packing and managing shipping documentation for all finished goods and vendor returns. It is essential to ensure that items are prepared for dispatch in accordance with shipping deadlines. You will actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to rectify packing or shipping discrepancies. As a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator, you will engage in a hands-on capacity within this physical role, collaborating closely with the production team while demonstrating a proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
Working Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Key Attributes:
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adhere to structured processes and workflows.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with Production, Distribution, and Quality Assurance teams.
- A positive mindset towards continuous improvement initiatives.
- Flexibility in responding to work requests, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Proficient in computer usage, with the capability to learn and utilize ERP systems (e.g., AX 2012 or D365) for inventory management.
- Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Strong customer focus, prioritizing the fulfillment of shipping timelines.

Work Environment:
You will be based in our state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Handling and packing finished products in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Accurate selection of packing materials and supplementary items.
- Proper labeling of packages, including item names and serial numbers.
- Ensuring a consistent and orderly flow of products following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Accurate processing of courier bookings and shipping documentation, including generating delivery notes and directing packages to appropriate shipping locations.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings to assess performance metrics.
- Assisting with inventory counts as necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and organized distribution area in line with 5S principles.
