Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our European Credit Desk Strategy team. This role involves conducting in-depth credit evaluations across the European Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors, with opportunities to expand into additional areas as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute thorough credit assessments focusing on European Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Formulate investment perspectives and perform comparative value analysis for our corporate credit traders and external investment clients.
  • Stay informed on market trends and modify investment strategies accordingly.
  • Articulate investment approaches to clients through presentations, meetings, and events.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Credit Analyst on either the buy-side or sell-side, showcasing a strong history of generating trade ideas and employing a robust research methodology.
  • While the primary focus will be on European Utilities and Oil & Gas, flexibility to cover additional sectors as required is essential.
  • Develop and disseminate trade recommendation reports and presentations that include investment insights and sector analyses.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish, Italian, or French is advantageous.
