About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Signal Global. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing costs across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise orders for supplies and negotiate the most favorable cost and delivery terms.
  • Identify and assess potential new suppliers to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
  • Manage the Made To Order product usage, including forecasting and scheduling.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain a structured, regular performance system to ensure best practice is adhered to.
  • Implement ongoing process improvements to ensure the procurement department is becoming more efficient and effective.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven work experience in Purchasing and currently in a similar role.
  • Current experience of performing a purchasing role using an ERP system.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Keen negotiating skills and ability to prioritize when faced with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Excel and SharePoint).
