TEXO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanic Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining all company-owned equipment, performing repairs and servicing on mobilized equipment, and ensuring up-to-date service records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily toolbox talks to ensure a safe and controlled work environment.
- Execute all workshop and yard-related activities, including maintenance, fabrication, and equipment function testing, in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is allocated and prepared for operational jobs in line with load-out requirements.
- Investigate and rectify defects reported from jobs to prevent re-occurrence.
- Maintain a high standard of personal housekeeping to improve efficiency and safety at all times.
- Ensure all equipment is stored in designated areas of the workshop/yard and utilize status label systems.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies.
- Liaise with stores to ensure spare parts are available for routine maintenance of all equipment.
- Mentor trainees during their time in the workshop.
- Assist the Logistics Coordinator with the allocation of kit for mobilization.
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- Proven mechanical background with experience in diesel engines, fluid pumps, and nitrogen equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
- Strong technical knowledge of pipeline and process testing operations and the equipment used.
- Founding in large diesel units.
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with 90/180k nitrogen pumps and fluid pumps, including HT400/HD500s.
