Senior Care Team Leader

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Rowan Park Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and creating a warm, supportive environment.
Our modern care home, situated in the heart of Radstock, provides luxury accommodation for 50 residents. We specialize in Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care, and our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate the care team to ensure smooth running of the home and create a positive atmosphere.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, prioritizing their dignity and independence.
- Oversee medication management, including ordering, administration, and documentation.
- Engage with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure clear and compassionate communication.
- Foster a team ethos, respecting diversity and promoting a supportive environment for all staff.
- Welcome visitors and show prospective residents and families around the home's facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells and provide or call for assistance as needed.
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes to reflect residents' needs and wishes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and e-learning to develop your skills and knowledge.
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies is required.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining a supportive environment.
