Job Title: Registered Manager

Halcyon Health & Social Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new children's residential service in East Lancashire.

We are a private organisation committed to providing high-quality care and support to young people who are leaving the care system or are unaccompanied asylum seekers.

About the Role:
  • Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, respect, and dignity.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders, including children, families, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines relevant to children's residential services.
  • Ensure that the care provided to children is of high quality, person-centred, and tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Implement robust safeguarding policies and procedures to protect children from harm, abuse, or neglect.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to provide high-quality care.
  • Manage the service's budget effectively, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of children and young people.
What We Offer:
