We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in patient care, working closely with our pharmacy team to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications.
Main Responsibilities
• Dispensing drug supplies to wards and departments, adhering to dispensary procedures and clinical trial protocols.
• Preparing emergency drug boxes, completing relevant paperwork, and making charges to wards using our computer system.
• Maintaining accreditation as a Technician Checker, providing final checks on dispensed items, and participating in departmental audits and development.
• Counselling patients on safe medication use, warning them of potential side effects, and promoting healthy treatment practices.
