Our services are designed to equip participants with essential skills and a renewed sense of purpose, significantly lowering the chances of reoffending.
The HMPPS Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) programme will be implemented across various regions, and we are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of CFO Support Worker.
In this capacity, you will oversee a caseload of participants in both correctional facilities and community environments, delivering exceptional support and guidance. Your role will involve helping participants navigate challenges to successful reintegration, achieve set objectives, enhance their skills, and secure sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored support to each participant.
- Assist participants in overcoming barriers to successful resettlement.
- Facilitate the development of skills necessary for employment.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and motivational techniques.
- A genuine commitment to the rehabilitation of individuals in custody.
- Awareness and understanding of safeguarding practices for vulnerable populations.
- Ability to successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at an enhanced level.
