About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Resourcedatamanagement. As a global energy and building controls specialist, we deliver sustainable control and remote monitoring solutions to leading retailers and blue chip companies.

In this role, you will lead a team of self-managed software engineers to ensure the team is aligned with projects that will support the business growth. You will be responsible for managing projects, understanding the markets we work in, and building a technology roadmap that will help keep the business current and ahead of the market competition.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be the main contact for the business within the Software Engineering department.
  2. Understand the broad range of projects the team is working on and add value where possible.
  3. Be actively involved in and own software projects that align with your skillset.
  4. Provide weekly/monthly updates on the progress of projects and any support requirements.
Requirements
  1. Experience leading a software engineering team.
  2. Experience in mentoring staff for personal development or performance matters.
  3. Experience in managing well-documented projects from inception to delivery.
  4. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This is a permanent role with an attractive salary, including optional BUPA, and an Annual Discretionary Profit Related Bonus.
