About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our team at Additional Resources. As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for handling maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks for fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting.
  • Install and commission new fire and security systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess and resolve fire and security system issues, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement fire and security system solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fire and security technologies and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fire and security systems, with a proven track record of working on large systems with complex cause and effect procedures.
  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex fire and security system issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and client demands.
