We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, particularly those with complex and frailty-related conditions.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing expert clinical care to patients with complex and frailty-related conditions
- Leading and developing our Elderly Care service, including the new AFU/SDEC unit and the state-of-the-art Elderly Care ward
- Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care to patients
- Developing and implementing evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes
- Participating in the acute medical on-call rota and other clinical commitments
