About the Role:The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring that high standards of care and compliance with regulations are maintained. This will involve managing a team of care staff, coordinating care across a wide geographic area, and ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care services
- Coordinate care across a wide geographic area, ensuring that individuals receive the care and support they need
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated essential standards of quality and safety
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each person we support
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including commissioners and specialist professionals, to ensure that our services meet the needs of individuals and communities
- Hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Have experience of managing care services and leading a team of care staff
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and external stakeholders
- Have a strong understanding of care regulations and standards, including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated essential standards of quality and safety
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel
