Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Infrastructure & Security Engineer to bring depth and expertise to our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of infrastructure management and cybersecurity principles, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust IT systems and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implement Secure Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage secure, resilient, and scalable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with knowledge of Google Cloud being advantageous.
  2. Utilize Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management: Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Puppet to enhance infrastructure deployments and security configurations.
  3. Manage Containerized Applications: Managing containerized applications using Docker, with deployments on Kubernetes, Lambda, EKS, and ECS—preferably EKS.
  4. Monitor and Secure Environments: Leveraging AWS services like Config and CloudTrail to monitor and help secure environments.

What We Offer

This position is a 6-month contract with a budget of up to £500 a day (Outside IR35) and the potential for impact in a growing, mission-driven organisation.
